Car failed annula emission test 850 1995

Thanks again.

I tried the trick (20 times back and forth); but it seemed not working well on my car. So it is time to replace it.

I do have a garage and can do all the fixings myself; but just feel a little sick to deal with those guys for annual inspection. I really don't mind to let them to do the jobs. The things bother are they (my neighborhood garages) always do a lousy job (at least the few occasions on my volvos). I do let them make some money for things that can not go terribly wrong like oil changes (my own oil and fileter), light bulbs, wipers, hoses, etc. But it seems they are still satisfied with that. I think I understand it takes more time to perform emission test on 1995 cars since there is no OBD II and the fee for annual inspection is low ($37). So it may be time to think about a newer or new car. :-)

The same CV joint was replaced a few years back. The left one was replaced this year. But a lot of parts on this car are original. I am fraid it can be a money pit to get everything in order, though it is still a very good one (and I like it too).

Oh well. I will let it sit on my driveway for a few days so I can think it over.

Best,
