I started this heater core project when the outside temps were in the 50s.
What I wasn't prepared for were the cold temps that hit a couple of nights ago. I was outside scrambling in an attempt to finish the task so I could drive the car the next day, only to have to give up once my hands stopped working. (I found out that it was about 27 degrees F outside when I got inside.)
I'd appreciate any tips or tricks anyone can offer me for doing any kind of work in cold temps/snow. Unfortunately for me, I don't have a garage, the car is on the street, and I can't put this job off until the weather gets a bit warmer.
One of the problems is that my free time typically comes very late in the evening (usually between midnight and 4:00am), and that just happens to be the coldest part of the night.
Any advice is greatly appreciated, as always.
