General advice wanted: Working outside in very cold temps.

Hello:

I second Steve's suggestion about the neoprene gloves-- they make an amazing difference-- I wear them when I am picking parts in cold weather at the boneyards.

I also keep a small space heater that I can put inside the car-- sometimes I place it on the garage floor beside me for wintertime brake work, etc.

In some cases driving to a friend's underground parking has been a major improvement too.
