No spark from coil. EZK ignition 200 1989

I have run thru the Bentley Manual diagnostics. No obvious faults. Batt voltage at coil terminals 1 & 15 w ign key on. Coil tested OK Ohms 1 - 15 and 1 - 4HT.
Voltage at amplifier while cranking w ign on is 3 - 5 volts, not pulsing between 0 - 2.5 as "should be" according to Bentley. I switched in a a good throttle switch, it clicks but may not be perfectly adjusted.
Help please. p.s. Bentley is SO MUCH BETTER than Chilto or Haynes.
