I sucked on the MAP vacuum tube and the sensor "clicked" and held vacuum. So I guess that works.
Last month, I pulled the cold start injector while my helper hit the starter. Nice cone of spray - only once and no dribbles. When I pulled the wires, no spray. So that looks good.
I don't relish pulling off the 6 injectors, it might be easier to just pull the 6 spark plugs and inspect each cylinder with the fuel pump on. With a brand new fuel pressure regulator, I am still suspicious about the length of the injection cycle and the age of the wires. Even the computer itself.
You know, what ever the problem is, it is going to be something simple like a chafed wire or a leaky vacuum line. Something to make me look like the simpleton that I am. What a learning curve.
