Good p.m. and may this find you well. Mea culpa: I should have written: "...the 10 o'clock position as you face the engine BAY." That would have made clear, that the position indicator is for someone standing outside of the car, facing the engine compartment. The sensor is on the left side of the engine - as you face the engine bay - at the rear corner of the engine.
See the 700/900 FAQs, under SITE FEATURES, for the procedure to replace this sensor. So long as you have the right tools (mainly a series of extension bars) and don't apply over-much force, you'll do the work quickly.
