Hello Pete, Phil and Shayne:

Okay, you guys have given me a lot to think about. Shayne, I tried your spark wire trick last night - no change in condition. That is a relief to some extent.

Phil, I am going to pull off the distributor tonight and check that. It will also go some ways in checking a few of Pete's recommendations.

Pete, I do not believe we have ever corresponded before but thanks for weighing in. Some of your suggestions I have checked already, others not. How do I check the cam follower?
