Mods to the T5 conversion 140-160

Pardon my ignorance/memory but I don't recall the threaded hole for the piviot pin going all the way through the bell housing??? If it does great that will make things much simpler. If it doesn't are you suggesting that I CAREFULLY drill it through and tap the small bit of the new hole?
