John!
I hate to argue with you but I'm pretty sure that the old B16 PVs were NOT
marked "Sport". I think the "Sport" came with the newfangled B18 engines.
(My first 3 Volvos, a '60 544, a '59 544 and a '58 444, were all B16 powered
and none had the "Sport" designations and all had dual carbs.)
