My 544s and 444 all had 4 speed and dual carbs but no evidence of the "Sport"
designation. I think I'll stick to my opinion, as first told to me by a friend
in California, that the Sport model was the B18 dual carb, 4 speed version.
BTW I had only seen ONE B18 544 when I was driving PVs, 1967-70, and I think
that the owner put in the B18 himself.
