Questions:
Why is, {'was' in my case}, this problem intermittant if it is an ECU issue?
Possibly a thermal protection circuit internal to the ECU?
Does the 91 240 not use a manually re-settable inertia switch for the fuel system safety, and if not, what means does it use to initiate a fuel shutdown proceedure in case of collision?
Would that ECU circuit possibly cause an intermittant fuel pump shutdown situation as I had?
