i was talking with a client of mine today about the garmin line of gps units.

she told me that on a drive from upstate NY to Philadelphia the garmin lost its signal several times.

anyone have similar experiences.

as a small business owner, i do TONS of driving to places unknown to me.

mapquest has been good but not great (got lost today with mapquest instructions) & i need something better.

i have been looking into a gps unit for my car. no mp3. no phone hook up. f*ck blue tooth. all i want is a very reliable gps unit.
