I've got a handheld Trex II for checking the odometer and speedometer and tracking trip mileage.

For navigation I use dead reckoning; road maps if I'm really confused. I listen to the radio for traffic reports in metro areas. I ask locals where the good eaterys are.

There have been times I really would have liked to know where I could find the nearest motel. Those times happen more and more frequently as I get older. ;-) I'm willing to learn a new trick or two. Woof!
