Sounds like it is maybe time for the starter stick test.
Get a good solid dowel rod or something like that and put it down right on the top middle of the solenoid. Have someone get in the car and man the ignition for you. You can do this solo but more work.
Start by giving the solenoid a few good solid thumps with the end of the dowel rod and then have them start trying to turn it over. If you get the wirrr instead the starter catching, have them cyle the key and try again. Keep thumpin while they are cranking. Thumps now, not crushing blows of death and destruction.
If it suddenly catches and starts her up you have found your problem.
