Which switch connection would stall the car? 120-130 1968

I'm thinking maybe the center (green) wire on the switch is the same as the small-gauge green wire on the starter solenoid?

I mentioned experiencing "bucking" while running before the car would stall.
I managed to keep the car going by reving it at stoplights with the car out of gear. That got me home, but I'm not sure if is is precisely the same event that triggers a full stall if I am idling w/o reving the motor.

Would a failure in that wire cause bucking while driving and stalling while idling?

I'll review the starter diagrams over at SW-EM again.
