When I read "009 dizzy" I think VW Beetle tuning. As far as I know this isn't the same dizzy as fitted to Volvos although they may share some parts. Bosch types and numbering can get a bit confusing so I'd be interested to know what's on the plate or stamped into the body of the one you are using for the points set up. Or any of the others for that matter. Please compare it to the list in Haynes. Is yours fully centrifugal or does it have vacuum?
All this mix and matching and swapping in non standrd parts is doing my head in! I'd rather start from scratch and have EVERYTHING back to factory spec. Hopefully it should then perform pretty close to how Volvo intended.
