Voltage to coil. 120-130 1968

Yes, this is a severed cable with a 140-series blue bosch coil.

I was thinking that there was probably a good reason that the coil was not supposed to receive constant power (overheating?) so I was shying away from that.
Wouldn't that put undue load on the fusebox?


I was hoping maybe a push-button ignition might be a nice alternative, but the easy-theft quality of such a setup had me a little concerned.

Like I said in the other post, I've got a "safety" wire in the trunk to provide direct power to the coil in case of trouble.
