Help - Poor idle; poor acceleration; missing 700

Thanks for the responses.

History:
For the last 9 months acceleration between 1500-2000 was dicey. Punching the throttle during that RPM band bogged down the engine. Easing up on the pedal seems to get me by. About 3 weeks ago the engine got worst. I had very little acceleration from a stop. It seems to me that the car was severly retarded. The exhast output feels choppy, like the engine is missing.

Bill, you indicated a concern with my timing light results. Did I run the timing light correly (mark hole on pulley, #1 cylinder)? How can the lower pulley slip without change the overall timing? Is there a "How to" on confirming the cam to crank timing? I suppose I could replace the timing belt, and see what happens, but maybe I can make that confirmation with the cover pulled off.

The plug wires seem OK. I verifyed all wires using the induction connector of the timing light. The air filter is new. I have checked and listen for vacuum leaks.

I am a little concern of the fuel pressure. Spec calls for a pressure of ~43 psi. I have 32 psi. However, I think the engine should be OK on pressure in the 30s.

I am not sure how to check for exhast restictions. Any suggestions?

Thank you
