You should get a gold star for doing this job. I have 3 models of Volvos and it ranks 2nd in the top 3 jobs most disliked. The trailer arm bushings on a 240 ranks #1 and blower motor on a 240 is #3
I bought my parts from fcp. Their pictures showed those pesky hose clamps alongside the much improved steel encased lower hose so I bought new ones. I was not going to risk any failure. The way I saw it was they could not do any harm in, they could possibly do harm out.... so in the went.
I am still sleeping soundly and my oil free driveway likes me :-)
