Thanks Art. Flattery will get you most anything. I was pleased to be able to show what concerned me about those parts. Especially when all I can do is fumble with the many camera settings, while being clueless about most of them.
But I'm surprised to learn that that the minimal contact surface on the short brush wouldn't mean a resistance to current flow. [Shows how little I know.]
I replied to Steve above, asking for Borton's pump price to add to my Tasca & Beechmont info, and to suggest that maybe we are not too far off if using 180-82K as a prudent time to change the pump. Surely my 152K was early, but hopefully Ted will get another 25-30K out of it.
Yes, based on current hind sight, I'll be a tank-thumper from now on. Maybe even lift the lid to give the sender a poke or two with a dull stick.
