check for spark during crank and run postion.....The carbs get blamed too often....car should run even on badly tuned carbs....if in doubt try starter fluid will cranking. When was the last time you did cap and rotor? Plug wires? BAd coil? IMHO most no starts are electric not fuel. I know the occasional start makes one think the spark is good, but you need to eliminate. Final thought, the carbs are flooding so bad it will only run a bit after sitting for a while, then floods again....Good luck.
