Broken Stud 200

Easy Out= something you break off that's 10 times as hard as the original stud.
I've managed to get a stud or 2 out but most of the time drilling and installing a slightly larger stud is the only remedy.
I've heard of a method of freezing the stud and somehow disintegrating it($$$$).
Don't have the details though.
