yes these are invaluable.

if you have 1/2" or more to grab these work well. if its broken flush or the stud is tiny good luck without drilling or removing the head and taking it to a machine shop.

you could thread a nut on this stud and then weld it fast. then back out the stud with a socket. but i do not suppose you have a welder
