More tranny bits M41...Attn: Peter

Again, great info with the shaft numbers. I checked a couple known old types, and of course immediately found the numbers on the shaft that you mentioned. I actually had a loose shaft leftover from a previous disaster...

Then took the bellhousing off the box to be rebuilt...and...lo and behold, no number. But, this one definitely has the larger of the two shafts. THe old one measured ~.66", whereas this one is closer to .7". Definitely a noticable difference.

If you could scare up any of the later type measurements, that would be great... IF not, no biggie. You've been a huge help so far! And...it means that the discontinued bearings would have been the wrong part...which really would have burned my biscuits!

One other question though... Do you know if there is a difference in either the front or rear mainshaft bearings (part numbers 11024, 11145 not sure which is which)? OR the set of needle bearings I got (#181331)? Or...will those all be the same for all M41s?

Again, thanks... I'm feeling like I'm getting somewhere now.

-Matt
