These two parts would be my guess as well.
The power stage is only on cars with the Bosch ignition, so you can rule that out if it's a Regina (your coil looks like an aluminum cube, rather than a black cylinder on the Bosch cars).
All 1990's have the crank sensor, and it's a likely failure point for a no-start.
Absolutely certain that the fuel pump relay was a good one? Try a new one or a resoldered one first. Another old one could well contain the same problem, and yes, they are sometimes intermittent (as are power stages and rpm sensors- sometimes.)
