700 series heater cores are a big job to replace. The one in my car made the faint antifreeze smells for a couple of years before it let go, and it really let go. Heater cores are just over $100 US, and at least eight hours to replace. It is a bigger job if you have to remove the carpeting and insulation, like I did.

My son's 760T has a leaking heater core. I have that one to look forward to changing also.
