When the spring thingee goes out in the ignition switch, you can loose your accessories and such, having to eeek the key counter clockwise just a hair. Just about everything is controlled by the ignition switch. You can, however, just loose the spark portion of the ignition switch, which, if your car runs like I previously wrote, that is the problem.
