remote starter install 200 1989

Thanks Scott,

Some notes/questions:

"sigal wire to power the fuel pumps "
The pumps are triggered by the comuter as far as I know... and it decides to trigger the pump relay when it detects crank (RPM sensor) as well as spark from the ignition I guess... I don't see the triggering of the fuel relay as being connected to the ignition switch itself... correct me if i am wrong. Car has bosch 2.2/2.4 injection...

"connecting several things at the back of the ignition"
You mean to the back of the ignition switch in the sterring column, right?
I never opened up the steering column, just a matter of popping off the covers and gaining access to the wiring?

"accessory wire can be done off the fuse box"
I would have thought I would take that off the ignition switch as well... since it is switched there.

OK as I see it should not be "too" bad :) It'll be fun anyhow and the crummy haynes wiring diagrams might help identify which wire is which at the ignition switch... with the voltmeter to help.

Thanks! Let me know if you have any further comments to my questions.

"need to do some tricks with relays"
So for the door locks... I guess I never realized that the kit's control box does not actually provide relayed +12 decent current signals... I guess I would use the control box's output(s) to trigger the relay(s), correct?
