Multilink to straight axle?

I'm finishing up a conversion that I had begun when I worked for Ross Converse. Amoung MANY other things, one issue the customer has is his independant rear suspension setup. Despite my best efforts, the customer still feels most confortable with a solid rear axle. This car is a 97 964 with a stroked Ford 351W now displaces 393 cu in. My question is whether anyone knows if this 960 has provisions for bolting in a volvo dana 30. Any info will be greatly apprecitated.
