Multilink to straight axle?

I used to dream of putting an indy rear in an early 242 and changing the front sheet metal and bumpers to early 140 stuff. Then fitting a V8 for the "ultimate" sleeper 142V. I may, one day, get around to it but not right now.

ANYWAY, when I was looking into it I was trying to source a rear from a 960 and it was looking like I would have to do the whole floor in the back. The mounts were different even if the floor was a similar shape. (similar 940 to 960, the 140 to 960 was much more involved.)
Just recollecting from a couple years back, can't promise any accuracy.
