Disagree with your observation that auto message boards contain mostly complaints from a minority of owners. I have a Toyota SUV and a MB. I spend a lot of time on boards pertaining to those vehicles. Unlike this board, most posts are queries about maintenance, accessories, upgrades, and pricing. A complaint about a car is seldom seen.

My HUGE investment was in dot-coms. That's done much, much worse than my Volvo.
