I am sorry, but I agree with David. I am a new car buyer. When I purchased my 2000 V-70 SE, I walked into the dealer, asked for a black V-70 SE, paid cash and walked out. I never though about buying anything else. The kept pushing the PVP option, but I refused as my experience with my 240 and 740's was that other than routine maintenance, it would not need servicing. Maybe they new that I would have to keep coming in for service. The first V-70 had so many problems I gave it back with less than 1,500 miules on it. The one they replaced it with, and they were willing to give me my money back, has had all kinds of trouble with the switches, srs system etc..
I say go back to the days when a car was built to go 200,000 miles and more and forget all the "high tech" electronics which keep breaking. (I also miss the style of the 740, especially the seats which were roomier and sat much higher than the V-70)
For $ 34,000 you should not have to put up with this kind of aggrevation.
