Difficult Driver Door 200 1990

Oh, I remember another adjustment that affects how difficult the door pull gets: the depth (inward) of the striker location determines how much the door seal gaskets are compressed before the latch wraps around the pin. An excess of pressure created by the door seals makes it difficult to unlatch, so a compromise between wind noise and ease of opening is your goal there. A 1990 is not so bad because of the extra noise barrier in the door seals.
