Another B20 Djet megasquirt conversion can be found here

I have been having a little trouble tuning for what the megasquirters call "tip in", aka. acceleration/throttle response. From what I have been reading on the megasquirt forum, some are suggesting more squirts per cycle (4 instead of 2) which requires half the injector pulse width. The theory is that the computer is then making more adjustments per cycle solving a lot of drivability problems.

Well at idle my pulse widths are already at the lower limit (1.7 ms) at pressure of about 37 psi. So I've just ordered an adjustable pressure regulator (has to have vacuum rise), to lower the pressure so I can use longer pulse widths. For some reason it seems like the stock d-jet injectors are almost too big for the application. According to the flow charts, the injectors should be good for a 300HP 4 cylinder engine. So if you are collecting parts you may consider an adjustable fuel pressure regulator (mine cost $122) instead of the Datsun 280Z FPR that is suggested on the sites. It will give you much better tunning flexibility.

I can report back to let you know how it works, it should be here in a few days then I basically have to start tuning from scratch again. There is quite a learning curve involved, but the breakthroughs are well worth the effort. If my setup works well I will probably make a write up to show what I have learned, but that is a ways off.
