Why can't we just fix the damn roads?

Besides, you're in CANADA! Solvent, sovereign, doin' quite alright. (Imagine an enthymeme ...) How bad can the roads be in Canada?

Though, I'd like a new Volvo 240, and am wondering could it be done?

I do not like any new automobile made today. Well, maybe the boxy cars driven by the giant hamsters you see on the tee vee adverts. Sort of look like Mitsubishi Monterro with that rattly 2.6 I-4 engine. You had to re-torque the cylinder head bolts every so often and adjust teh valves clearances pretty frequently. Like the original VW bug.

I used to like cars. I don't like today's cars. I like the Volvo 240.

No, actually, like Klaus or ?, I ♥ ♂ 240. Hugs and kisses and pets.

When I motor in, and care for, my Volvo 240, I feel like the nice folks that built it are somewhere in there. They handle the transmission cross members bolts. So did I. Reinstalled at proper torque.

I look at the images we can see of the kind folks that built your RWD Volvo. Somehow they are always there. There is more to the RWD Volvo car then the physical presence. More so in the 444s-544s up to teh 140s and 160s. A Swedish or Nordica soul in that Volvo. Quiet might. Ever faithful. The people makin' them RWD Volvos WANT you to KEEP rollin'! (I guess they'd be honored we so fervently keep them going.)
