How much would you pay for a NEW 2017 Volvo 240?

hi tech- you make good points, to wit the main problem with purchasing a new or used fwd. doing all the disconnections and dropping out the engine/trans cradle is a major undertaking for the shade tree mechanic. smashups and rustouts have taken out most of the cars i have owned. guessing the 92 245 will be no exception. one question since the day will soon come when you have no choice but to go fwd, do you have any opinion on the kia soul or hyundai elantra with manual ? they are low priced, get good mpg and have that 100k 10 yr. warranty which may be a fakeout. cant find much specific research about them which isnt advertising poppycock. thanks tons oldduke
