Bulletproof, I'm curious because you didn't mention which way you went with the MGB. Removing the MG motor is the way you would do a clutch or rear seal on a "B". I would add this -- on the Volvo it's almost 6 of one-half dozen of the other. Removing the auto transmission almost always results in a mess of ATF to have to clean up and having to deal with the sometimes difficult to remove (and re-install) dip stick tube. On a stick shift car the shift linkage can turn into a real project. Removing the motor gives access to the sometimes difficult to reach heater hoses. I've done the job both ways depending on what else needs attention. ---- Dave
