I'm not sure if the D-jet pump is the same as K-jet, but if it is, it'll put out somewhere in excess of 75 psi, definitely enough to cause a pretty decent fire if you hook it up to your carbs. I don't know if there's a regulator out there that'll handle the pressure & flow of that pump while stepping it down to the low pressure (about 7psi, I think?) that feeds the carbs. And no, I don't suggest either using or trying to repair a leaky pump. There are too many good used ones laying around in scrapyards to justify that kind of risk.
