Help me PLEASE Discussion at work 200 1986

Volvo brakes have saved me from 2 accidents when people pulled across my path at intersections. No impact in either case.

Few cars can match a rear-wheel-drive Volvo for stopping distance, with or without ABS.

We put our son into a couple old 240's after he got his license. One of them is junked now, but he's OK. He didn't walk away, he DROVE away after doing reporting paperwork. He thought that the cars ahead of him were going to be moving through that intersection any time now... NOT.

I want to debunk another myth - 4WD for winter weather. Bunk.
I've driven 10 years in New England in 240's, with 4 snow tires and 4-5 cement blocks in the back. Always made it home without trouble. 4WD cars with "all season" tires can't match a brick set up that way.
