Since your headlamps are always on, all of the time, you will burn them out sooner. The concept of DRLs in most countries outside of the US is a separate bulb or relay that burns them at half wattage.
If you want to stop replacing them, you can turn the tiny screw to the left of the light switch and deactivate the DRLs. Then your lights are on only at night.
You could seek out other bulbs (see http://www.autolamps-online.com), but I think you may still burn them out faster as they are always on. My old SAAB had the same problem. I took the relay out to save me th etrouble of replacing bulbs.
