Is the Lemon Law a lemon? V70-XC70 1998

Hi David,

Ditto on the Audi. I went looking at one in late December and found them to be way over priced. Priced the same as a XC with a much smaller car. At least Volvos are price competitive. It is a shame the Volvo quality/engineering is not up to the standards of the market place that they are selling in.

I went and looked at a Passat wagon last night and walk away from that car also. Not a very comfortable car! Again Volvo did a great job on the car comfort.

My 99 XC is at the 41K-mile marker and the warranty will run out by this summer. So it is starting to look like I am going to have to go back to driving a SUV. I am not going to be happy drive another Gas Guzzling Detroit Tank but it looks like I have no choice. I am defiantly not going to get stuck with a XC lemon that has no warranty. The Dealer will make a fortune off of me and that thought just raises my blood pressure a few points (Sell me a pile of junk and give me the shaft on replacing all the garbage parts that break. I can just see a small fortune in just window switches and engine mounts!).

Best of Luck David,

Steven---
