Good point. I was trying to give the dealer (Nemith Motors in Latham, NY) every opportunity to correct the situation. Instead, things have gotten worse from a customer relations perspective. I requested interest on my deposit and a written explanation of why the contract terms were not met. The VP at Nemith refused both items. When I went to pick up the title, refund check and car, the salesman suggested we check out the car first. He noticed that my winter rims and tires were missing. The salesman couldn't locate them, and the next day, when I spoke to the sales manager, he told me they were lost. I told him I expected some compensation for the missing items, and he told me he didn't think he could do anything! Needless to say, I expect some sort of compensation for my missing property.
