'93 240 wagon for son's first car 200 1993

By '93, very few sticks were imported. In fact, I've been driving bricks for 25 years, have 4, go to a Volvo indy shop, and have never seen a '93 stick. '92 rare also. I think you can include '89/90 in your search, even though no airbag or abs. Also, my personal opinion is start them out with an automatic. Just learning to drive is enough info at once. My son hated that position and told me how wrong it was compared to a few of his friends operating under the full immersion approach. Funny thing is, his friends who started that way got into fender benders. He actually admitted a few years later that the baby steps approach probably was a good idea. He got a stick in college. Look around college towns. Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill could be good hunting. Be careful in NC, though, because of all the flooding in the past. Good luck.
