in what i have seen on almost all motors that get longer rods is that the torque is only affected at idle to at most 3000rpms(0n some small displacment hondas that rev 10'000+). but from that point the torque is increased everywere. with 3liters of displacment even if it did take away some torque down low i dought it would be that noticable.
much agreed on the cam. as little overlap as posible would be ideal. and i still think that the longer dwell time at TDC with the longer rods would push out more exaust gas .since he will not get any scavaging effects like on a na motor.
do you think that the b30 f head with the exaust taken to 38mm would be that weak?
the heads kg trimning is producing for turbo b30's keep the stock intake valve 44mm and take the exaust up to 38.5 or 40mm.
