What is he actually going to use this thing for?
also with the longer rods and shorter piston compresion hieght he will get less rod angularity and less piston rock. so he will get a better ring seal.
The stock B20 layout is just fine as is for piston rock & angularity.
i have bent stock rods in a b20 when my dizzy exploded and let the advance go all the way out.
You must have blown the head gasket, let some water in & hydrauliced it to have bent the rod like that.
i think in tuning the motor he will see detonation atleast a couple of times.
Do you know what bore he's going to use?
