Intermittent electrical problem 200 1986

"She did say that right before she pulled into the driveway her radio shut itself off for about a second and then came right back on."

That's a dead ringer of a dead battery getting no charge... I bet the radio shut off when she put her foot on the brake pedal to slow down in order to pull into the driveway.. the brake lights drew enough amps that not enough juice was left for the radio...

New battery... should get the car to go for a longer than it did, but I'm still going with an intermittent (soon to be permanent) lack of charge.

Your alternator brushes are worn.

I'm stickin' with it :-)
