Rene,

I would think that with the manual and the regualar 2.3L engine that you should be doing better than that for fuel economy, like I said with a 240 with the same engine I could get over 700km to a tank. Mind you that was a slightly lighter car than a 740 GLE but I think you should be able to do better. (I could get 650km with my fathers 240 wagon with a 3 speed auto so I am sure you should be able to do better). Anyway enjoy your car shopping experience.
