How do i check my coil? 1800

without the points, the coil can't work. on the 2 small terminals, look for 15 and 1 or 16. 15 is 12v with key on, the other is the trigger to fire the coil. no points, no trigger, no fire. if the other doesn't pulse a test light while cranking the engine, the coil won't spark. check the points first. good luck, chuck.
