Dennis:

Have you checked your fuel filter? There might be just enough obstruction to allow fuel through at a limited rate. I just went through a half dozen filters from some bad gas (too much pizza I guess) with a miss when accellerating uphill. New plugs, filed and reset points, cleaned carbs and new rotor helped some but it took several more fuel filter changes to eliminate the miss.
