Good tip on looking for sparks or blue glow in the dark, I will give it a try.

I have been enriching the carbs and it seemed to get better but not gone completely. These carbs were rebuilt and a needle that is a lot thicker than the old ones so more turns on the jets seems justified. I will keep playing with it.
